Proton Mail Bridge lets you use desktop email apps like Outlook, Apple Mail or Thunderbird with your Proton business email, while keeping it encrypted.
- Download Proton Mail Bridge from proton.me/mail/bridge and install it.
- Open Bridge and sign in with your Proton email and password.
- Bridge shows a mailbox password and server settings for your account. Use those (not your Proton password) when adding the account to your email app.
- In your email app, add a new account and choose manual setup with the IMAP and SMTP settings shown in Bridge.
- Keep Bridge running on your computer. Your email app connects through it.
