I clicked a suspicious link or entered my password

Act quickly. These steps limit the damage:

  1. If you entered a password, change it right away from a device you trust, and change it anywhere else you use the same password.
  2. If you opened an attachment or downloaded something, disconnect the device from the internet (turn off Wi-Fi or unplug the network cable). Do not turn it off.
  3. Contact us immediately at support@n49security.ca from another device if needed. Put what happened in the first line and include a phone number where we can reach you.
  4. Tell us what you clicked, what you entered, and roughly when.

There is no blame in reporting quickly. The sooner we know, the easier it is to fix.
